Our attempts, as a lesbian couple in the UK, at making a baby. Update: we are now pregnant!
So I've been getting waves of (very) mild nausea for the last couple of days. Can this be a very (very - only 5 days post insem!) early symptom of pregnancy? I don't know enough about the biology, but I suspect not.
So my mind is playing games on me. Great. Just what I wanted when I need to trust what my body's telling me!
We are two UK lesbians, trying to have a child with a male friend. We are perhaps unusual as the baby will have 3 parents - both of us and the father-to-be (Travolta). We started trying just recently, but have been thinking about this a couple of years, and planning in detail for several months.
We are 30-40, and have been together 10 years. We civil-partnered earlier this year (the UK finally has equality in its marriage laws, but is still desperate not to scare the religious lobby, so we are equal in all but name).
